I have been reading a lot of YA books lately. It seems like the ones that have been recommended to me have been so amazing and I've devored most of them it record time. However, my bookshelf is getting a little over crowded so Ive decided to do a little giveaway. All you have to do is respond to this post telling me which YA book is your favorite and why, or become a new follower on my blog(double points for both, triple if you follow me on twitter). I've listed my top five YA books below along with the books I'll be giving away.


5. Fallen- A teen love triangle mixed with feuding angels, a boarding school for troubled teens, and a love that seems to be forbidden. Yeah, I'm all over it.

4. The Vampire Diaries Series- The whole series was fantastic. If you haven't read them, I suggest you do. I mean who doesn't love two hot vampires fighting over a girl right? I'm still waiting for Elena's ultimate decision. Stefan or Damon?(I'm gunning for Damon (***wink***)

3. Beautiful Creatures - Who doesn't love a young man who will do anything for the Love of his life. Throw in a little Caster magic and you've got a stellar novel all wrapped into one.

2. Hush Hush - A angsty love story involving a fallen angel, rebel. This book has become a new obsession of mine. I always love the books where the love that grows between two people starts out as a little smolder and grows into a hot, blazing fire.

1. Before I Fall- This book captivated me, mind, body, and soul. The tale of a teen who has seven days to relive the last day of her life over again was undoubtedly appealing. What would you do? What would you change about the way you live your life?

    I have never read any the "Vampire Diaries" yet believe it or not! BUT Ive heard great things so I think I must get on it and find out! I need to start expanding my library of YA for when I finally have a class of my own !! Cant wait to read your book also Laur, when did u say it was going to be in stores around here?

    I am currently reading "The Hunger Games" and I am in a trance. It's so good! I love the list you have here, so many of these are already on my list of books to read, which thankfully, never ends!!

    Cool Giveaway! So many books....lets see....

    I have to pick Before I Fall. I have read several reviews on this book and it seems quite interesting. I would love to read about her adventerous seven days and what she did different, plus the way you describe it, sounds even better :)

    One of my favorite YA books has to be Kissed by an Angel by Elizabeth Chandler. It is such a powerful love story filled with suspense.

    OMG!!!!! Those books look SOOOOO good!!!!

    I'm already a blog and twitter follower ;)

    I am completely IN LOVE with YA, so I don't know if I could choose just one, but for my favorites, I would have to go back to when I first started reading YA, I will still read and reread everything by Tamora Pierce, L.J. Smith, Cate Tiernan, and Tera Lynn Childs. As much as I LOVE all the new stuff that's coming out, they can't compete with nostalgia ;)

    Lora1967 I would have to say Hush Hush was my favorite. It takes me back to being a teenager and the crush and intrigue and the mysterousness about that boy that you think is cute. I love the remark where she ask patch if he can fly lol

    Hi, Lauren, I have followed you on twitter for a long time. I am just now reading "Love Sucks" and am fascinated. I haven't read any of the Vampire YA books but would love to. My choice would be "Before I Fall". I don't know...yet...how I would live the last day of my life if I knew it was the last day. This sounds like a great give-away. Betsy

    Well, at the moment my favorite YA book is Hush, Hush. It was my first Fallen Angel book and I'm completely in love about it. Patch is so misterious (and Hot, I must add) and Nora seems like a common/real girl, you know, she makes me think "Oh, I know someone like her! or I'd do the same thing".
