The 411 on Famished...

Dear Readers,

It has been brought to my attention that there are some formatting errors and typos in Famished. Honestly, when it was uploaded, I had no idea. And I don't think author ever intends to upload a book with errors in it.

So.... I will be dropping the price on Amazon. And I will also be taking down the version with the errors, correcting them, and then I will be putting it back up.

For the readers who bought the version with errors, I apologize.

eBooks are a lot different format-wise than paperbacks and takes some getting used to.

But I am confident that in the future, this will not be a problem.

    I've so been looking forward to reading Famished! I'm in love with dystopian and post-apocalyptic lately (I blame The Hunger Games). I don't have an e-reader yet, I'm sure I could read it on the computer, but I still love the feel of pages between my fingers. I have the Amazon page open right now, while I keep oscillating between the paperback and reading my first e-book. :)

    I've found formatting issues in just about every ebook I've read. I'm not sure why they make the formatting so difficult. I don't think it's your fault at all, Lauren. And besides, FAMISHED is an amazing book and that comes through no matter what. :)

    Thanks Kelly, lol. I think I'll feel much better about it after the fixed version is up tho. I don't know what happened. I thought everything was perfect when it went up.

    formatting is a real pain... and it sucks that it's different for everything you want to create (paperback vs. nook vs. kindle). It really shouldn't be this difficult!

    I'm almost finished with Famished, and must say that I'm really enjoying it! I had problems with formatting errors too, but ultimately it's the story that counts. ;)

    I loved Famished and am wondering if there will ever be a sequel. My version says it is part of the wasted series, but I haven't seen anything else on it.
