You May Be Number Four.. But I Am Numero Uno..

Okay. Today's post is going to be on... dun dun dun.... I Am Number Four...

While browsing through my local borders the other day, I came across this book.(yes I am usually the last one to discover good books) I am one of those people that has to read the book before I see the film. I know it's daunting because the films seldomly surpase the novels....

But I don't know about you.... From what I've seen on the trailers.. I Am Number Four looks pretty, fan -freaking- tastic!

Anyone read the book or seen the movie? Let me know you're thoughts!

  1. My brother saw it yesterday, and called me from the theatre to tell me I had to go! Plus he knows I'm into the YA and he wanted to know the story with the book (and there IS a whole story there). :)

  1. Ooh, I thought you'd read it. I'll await your review.

I was thinking about getting this book because the movie previews look good, and the book is usually ten times better than the movie.

I really enjoyed the book. The middle was a bit slow, but the premise is very intriguing and I'm looking forward to the next book. I haven't seen the movie yet, but I think it would translate well from book to screen (if done well, of course...like everything). :)

  1. I haven't done either, but I'm dying to get my hands on the book and watch the movie. They both sound awesome!

I liked the book. I'm not normally into aliens and all that, but it was good. I think the movie looks pretty kick ass. I'm glad I've already read the book, though. I'm like you, have to read the book first.

  1. I bought the book a while ago, and read the first 20 pages. The beginning was a bit frantic. But I really should give it another try. I wasn't aware that the film was out yet. Hopefully, I'll read it and see the film.

  1. I haven't seen the movie or read the book, but I'd like to read the book before seeing the movie.

  1. We went to see the movie today. Verdict? I found it to have non stop action, a very hot protagonist, and an intriguing premise. There was times I had to cover my eyes as I can't deal with blood. The main character is very cute and the chemistry between him and the human girl was very intense. They are boyfriend/girlfriend in real life.

I guess I've been living under a rock, but I don't even know what it's about!
