Creativity... For writers, having this is so extremely important. I can't stress that enough.

There are so many sides to it too. Whether your building a magical kingdom or writing a new character, both of things require creativity & imagination.

Imagine what Harry Potter would be like without Hogwarts? Or Jane Eyre without Mr. Rochester?

As we go into the weekend, let's take a moment to think about creativity and how we apply to our writing... So.... I'll leave you with a little quote to think about..

Imagination is the beginning of creation. You imagine what you desire, you will what you imagine and at last you create what you will. ~George Bernard Shaw~

Creativity is so important. Without it, every book would be the same. I love to let my imagination go wild. There's just no way to write a good manuscript without tapping into that creativity.

  1. Here are two of my favorite quotes on creativity:

"Creativity is seeing what others see and thinking what no one else has ever thought." - Einstein
"Imagination is more important than knowledge" -Einstein

I agree! Creativity is what helps us back our characters into impossible corners and then find a way to get them out.

Oh I just love it too! I am in my element when I'm creating... everything else is just mundane, run of the mill. There is nothing quite so satisfying as building a world and designing characters to go with it!!

    have a great weekend!
