Book Of The Week and YA BOOK GIVEAWAY..

Monday, October 18, 2010
The book of the week this week is Origins:(The Vampire Diaries, Stefan's Diaries Book # 1) by:L.J Smith, Kevin Williamson, and Julie Plec. Now I have to say, I read the original series by L.J Smith and absolutely loved it! When I found out they were coming out with a book that had to do with the show, and not so much the original series, I was kind of sceptical. But, I'm always the type of person who will give books a shot, then form my own opinion. So Origins is the next book on my TBR. Keep watch, next week I'll let you know what I think.

In the meantime, the YA book giveaway is still going on and there are only two days left to enter... Three winners will be picked!!!!

Great giveaway! I'm not sure how to limit myself to a single favorite author! ;) I just loved Avi and Norma Johnston when I was younger, and now that I'm no longer a YA, I'm a big fan of Melissa Marr and Maggie Stiefvater.

  1. Awesome giveaway! :D My favorite YA author (currently) is probably Aprilynne Pike. I absolutely adore her writing and the way she creates her ideas and how she plots things out. She can make cliffhangers and plot twists without even intending to do so! I'm a new fan of hers, but a die-hard fan!

JK Rowling did an amazing job with Harry Potter. I don't know how she kept all the details and world building fresh and real. Loved it.

Thank you SO much for doing this giveaway. The list of the books you are giving away are PRETTY AWESOME!

My favorite YA author (I have two) are Richelle Mead and Maggie Stiefvater. They are both amazing, and unique with their stories.

There is Richelle who just makes you feel like a real teenager (even if you're an adult). She pulls you into her exciting vampire world that is Vampire Academy.

Then we have Maggie. Oh dearest, she makes you breathless with every word poetry word she writes. Her Wolves of Mercy Falls series is fantastic. She makes you ache and long for what her characters go through. I love it.

Also, thank you for this fantastic giveaway ! The books you are giving away are pretty awesome !

One of my favorite authors is Melissa Marr (Wicked Lovely Series). The way she writes and ideas she comes up with are refreshing and exciting. She is also really cool on Twitter and I don't ever hear her judge any one else. Not only that, but she's also really out going!
